Learn Awesome New Linux Command Line Tips by Following Shell-Fu on Twitter

Add Files to Archives With Simple Drag and Drop in GNOME

I just discovered something today, and quite by accident: GNOME/Nautilus allows you to add files to an archive by simple drag and drop! How’s that for convenient? I already knew that creating archives is as simple as right-clicking on a file or folder, but this makes working with archives even easier.
