  1. Great review, I wish I knew about that site before x-mas, every one would have got A crappy MP3 player.

  2. Hey Nathan, good review.

I got mine about the same time and wondered if you’ve been able to actually get shuffle mode to work. I have not quite grok’ed what the difference is between my switch on the loop versus the cross-over emblem but neither seems to randomize all my files.

The only thing I can think of is that it is doing odd things with the directory structure. I just copied a subset of my mp3 tree rather than flattening them into one dir like the example files it shipped with.

Thanks again for the review, looking forward to hearing more.

  3. Hi Wayne, glad you liked the review! I think that for me the “loop” emblem cause the files to play back alphabetically by directory, whereas the “crossover” emblem seemed to shuffle through all of them pretty well. Sometimes there is a slight pause between songs that seems longer than normal, though.

  4. do you think this would be suitable for a 7 yr. old?

  5. I think it would probably be fine for a seven year old, although I can’t really speak for its durability as I haven’t given mine a whole lot of use.
