I agree with you that the "K" that seems mandatory in most KDE apps is just ridiculous.   It makes me laugh...but I think they're getting away from that (the new official file manager is called Dolphin, so no "K" in sight!)</description>

		<description>I always envied Linux Mint for its web-based software portal, like the one you mentioned here. It seemed so user friendly when I had a look around it one day. This looks to be just as good. Thanks for the heads-up!

One thing I noticed in particular about Appnr, was the sidebar menu for "Best With: GNOME, KDE, XFCE." I don't think I've seen that elsewhere, and that could really come in handy for those who don't know what's fully intended for their D.E.

Unless the pacakge name is prepended with a 'K,' as in KWrite, Kaffeine, Kontact, and so on... which I honestly loathe :)</description>
