By time I installed Ibex on my main workstation, the problem had been resolved as well. Ubuntu gets better and better!

Hi Nathan,

I've upgraded to Intrepid on several machines and my main workstation, which runs an Nvidia N7600Gs video card, and is using the proprietary driver that I downloaded using Hardware Drivers feature of Ubuntu, is working just fine.

I'm running Compiz flawlessly on my dual-monitor twinview setup and love it.

Man, we've come a long way with Ubuntu!
