Manage Your Google Calendar From the Command Line

Check out all the cool screenshots at the Google Code page for Gcalcli
I recently received an email from one of our readers/listeners (and a fellow blogger) pointing a really neat little app called gcalcli. As you might guess from the name, the application allows you to manipulate your Google Calendar(s) from the Linux command line. You can add events, check out your agenda, and even view a “graphical” calendar right in your terminal! I downloaded it yesterday and gave it a decent runaround…I was surprised at how easy it was to use. Even though not all GCal features are supported (and you can’t work with any data offline) it’s a still a great way to quickly check your appointments, and is great way to get your agenda on screen with Conky.
