Trying to Find a New GTD Trusted System for Linux

June 24th, 2008 | 3 Comments

I’m changing things up for my GTD trusted system. In th past I’ve used a combination of Evolution and my Palm T|X, which works great…except for for one thing: I’m now sick and tired of carrying out a Palm device. I wouldn’t mind a Treo, but I’m fresh out of cash (spending my tax rebate on an Eee PC for my wife and 22” monitor me :)

Of course, this presents a great opportunity for me to test several different GTD apps for Linux that I’ve wanted to try for a while. Of course, I’m not married to the idea of a desktop app, either. I’ve already begun playing with IWantSandy.Com, which is very nice, but I’m not quite sure if it’s what I’m looking for.

I’d love to know what your GTD trusted system is, and especially how it’s integrated with your Linux desktop. I’ll keep you posted on what I come up with!

  1. You should really try rememberthemilk.com and Tasque.

There’s even a deskbar app for RTM too. ;)

  2. Deskbar for RTM rocks.

+1 for RTM. It works with tbird, gmail, gfyd, and the new tasque, among others. There’s a good article on their page about using it with GTD.
