Changin’ it up
When I first envisioned this little site, I imagined a daily blog. Then, later, a supplementary podcast. Looking at the logs and stats, the podcast is clearly the most popular part of ProductiveLinux…so it’s as if things have flipped flopped. ProductiveLinux has become a podcast, with a supplementary blog!
And it makes sense. The podcast has been getting longer, and my blog posting more infrequent. Since that seems to be the natural evolution of the site, I’m going to embrace it. I’m going to *try* release podcasts a little more often (maybe every 1 1/2 weeks), and I’m definitely going to reduce my blog posting to about 1 or 2 posts per week. I know I really haven’t been outputting more than that anyways, but it’s a state of mind for me now…so I’m not focused on making cursory, short posts all the time. This will allow me to focus on higher quality posts that offer more practical advice and in-depth thoughts on using FLOSS to ramp up your personal productivity, and will hopefully provide for a better signal to noise ratio for all of us.
Thanks to everyone that listens, reads, and comments! I’m looking forward to even more Linux productivity goodness.
