Run Linux and Windows Simultaneously With AndLinux

February 27th, 2008 | No comments yet...what do you think?

AndLinux

I’ve been hearing pretty good things all over the net lately about AndLinux, which seems to be Wine’s counterpart for the Windows desktop. Even though it’s not really a virtual machine, it allows you to run pretty much any Ubuntu app like it’s a native Windows program. I’m glad no one’s forcing me to use Windows right now, but I can definitely see myself using this in the future to run my must-have Linux applications when I have no choice but use M$.

So we’ve got Wubi, KDE Windows ports, and now AndLinux to help us run our favorite open source apps anywhere. I’m psyched…but what do you think? Does this help or hinder our cause?
