Fine Tune Your Ubuntu with Ubuntu Tweak
Posted on February 8th, 2008 by nathan

There’s relatively new app out there called Ubuntu Tweak that allows to you easily make changes to your Ubuntu system. You can do some Compiz tweaking, update your startup preferences, and even make some security changes like locking down your GNOME panel and disabling printing. Now, all these things are certainly possible to do within the default settings and administration dialogs, but this little app just puts some of the more used options in one place. This will be very handy for newbies wanting to quickly get to some settings on a new Linux install, and more experienced users may appreciate the time-saving interface as well.
