Just in case you haven’t heard, some pretty sick people are passing around dangerous CLI advice as solutions to problems on Linux help sites like the Ubuntu forums. Some of these are obviously dangerous to those of us that use the command line on a regular basis, Others are more cleverly disguised. No matter what, though, make sure warn newbies if you see a thread with commands like these…and report it to the admins. Lets keep our community friendly and helpful!
