Convert Videos Straight from Konqueror With Ffmpegmenu

There are a couple scripts that add video conversion features to Nautilus (here’s one) but this is first one I’ve heard of that integrates into KDE. This script, highlighted by the FOSSwire blog, adds a right click menu that lets you easily convert videos into multiple formats. From FOSSwire:

The script itself is very simple, such that it’s definitely possible to edit it to customise the commands it runs to make your own ffmpeg conversion options. It does require you have ffmpeg and the necessary codecs to convert to DVD, MPEG and iPod already installed, as it is just a loader which calls ffmpeg.
