Schedule Reminders, Commands, Emails with KAlarm

November 7th, 2007 | No comments yet...what do you think?

Fosswire has review on the scheduling app for KDE, KAlarm. Looks fairly powerful…it can even replace cron or apt, if you wish! It also does personal reminders.

I like KAlarm. It’s simple, yet powerful. It might not be awfully exciting, but ultimately, it gets the job done and can be extended to make it perform how you want.

If you’re heavily invested in KOrganizer or Evolution, this may not be for you, but if you’re looking for an easy way to give yourself some reminders and automate some actions, KAlarm may be what you need!
