Installing Google Desktop on Non-Fedora/Debian OS

The Linux Community comes through yet again. Google Desktop for Linux is now available as a package for Puppy Linux.
Even though the “native” desktop search tools like Beagle can require lots of processing power and RAM (I never could run Beagle effectively on my low-powered, 1.6Ghz 256MB RAM laptop), Google Desktop runs like a champ. And you can access it from your regular Google search page. Not bad!
