Using Gmail as Your Default Email Client in GNOME

August 3rd, 2007 | No comments yet...what do you think?

Turns out setting Gmail as your email client in GNOME is as easy as downloading a script and pointing to it the Preferred Applications dialog.

Sweet! Right now the script uses Firefox as the browser, but it’s easily modified to use whatever you want (I’m using Epiphany). Don’t forget to check out the reader comments on the orginal post to find some KDE tips for this script as well.
